Peter has worked in many schools across Britain and has captivated children of all

ages with his exciting traditional stories from India. He also has a growing repertoire

of world stories which are always delivered in his own unique, engaging, and

interactive style.

Being one of only a handful of Indian Storytellers working in Europe today he is

always kept busy with Diwali and Holi celebrations, World Book Day, National

Storytelling Week, International Week, and many general Literacy-focused school


Peter is often asked to share stories with a theme and regularly creates bespoke

sessions for schools based on a certain country, festival, faith, or animal for

example. He specialises in working with Key Stage 1 and 2 but can also offer

Storytelling and Story Creating sessions for older pupils. Peter has also run INSET

days for school staff where he has shared practical techniques on telling a story

orally, as well as techniques to encourage children to write their own original stories.
